Anons, I fantasize about coming from a middle class background.

My mom was a waitress and my dad was a section 8 nutjob. They were broke but they also made a lot of bad choices and were absurdly irresponsible. I never met any of my extended family because they had burned all their bridges by the time I was born.

I never made it into the middle class as an adult and still work a low paying scrub job. One of my main copes is just disassociating and pretending I'm someone else who had middle class parents. Parents who loved me, supported me, and helped me have a good life.

I cuddled with a man last night. He wrapped his arms around me and played with my hair. He was very soft and warm. It started as a joke but I actually fell asleep really quickly and we slept the whole night together that way. I woke up feeling better than ever. Slept like a baby. It was really nice in a nonsexual way. Kinda wanna do it again Tbh. We should normalize cuddling in a purely non-romantic, non-sexual context.
