autism is a specific condition but it's mostly just having an extreme male brain (systemising over empathising). it's one of the ways eva6 gave herself a way (she is trans but your brain doesn't care how you identify).
it's also why a lot of trans women are specifically awkward autists, they're not just... women, like, normal ones. their mind remains the same.
conversely a lot of female-to-male transgenders are the (few) girls/women who are legitimately autistic, then go the trans route. some debate, J. K. Rowling wrote about it, but fuck it: you guys have a male brain, welcome to the autism club :-)
