85% of Americans live in the suburbs big cities with massive highway and metro populations, 10% rural near a small 10k pop town on a farm right outside town, still have utilities, then 5% is truly offgrid as in no utilities no water they have their own tanks/solar and live at least 15-20 miles from the nearest grocery store or 1-2k pop town.

What will you do when your electricity is turned off, how will you charge devices, how will communicate, how will you pump water? You need electric for everything, to store food, to preserve it, to have entertainment.

What will you do when your water is turned off, and you can't use the toilet or get fresh water, a bathtub only holds 100 gallons at most, how will you survive past a 2 week water supply? You need at least a 2000 gallon tank with a water catcher.

What will you do when you dont have food, how will you grow anything without water like corn, beans, tomatos, potatos, wheat, etc.
