The gameplay is way too shallow and the rest obviously was either janky or rushed. For a game that pushes cosmetics, not being able to see the characters inside the cars (while running the same engine as BR), no interesting mechanics, no proper end screen, no goofy shit (this is Fortnite), the whole collision issues fiasco, the list goes on.

The game mode is a mess. Did it have potential? Yes, it did. But now it's too late, everybody already moved on.
