If the Tories had a real leader, who was a true Patriot, a true Nationalist they would have a chance to split the Tory vote. But as it stands, the worst thing they did after Rishi was installing Badenoch as their leader. It's the exact opposite of what people wanted.
Not that people are that interested in the Tories anymore, even if currently they are saying the right things, it's simply people do not trust them to do what they say.
