as much as I dislike the cat (my favorite part of DT was when we got away from her and went to the gunslinger town with the hrothgar who had the southern accent...), I'd lose even more respect for the writing team if they just killed wuk for being unpopular. it's such a weak bitch move as a writer to let your readers dictate the direction you want your story to go, and once you start down that road, it shows that your story's just gonna be tugged in whatever direction some dumbass fan online thinks is best. it's over at that point. although perhaps it could be argued, that with the way they've been afraid to kill anyone off, we're already at that point and have been for a while
