Saku already left the US. Kind of pointless for them to have done this, imo, and in response to the guy crashing out – Saku at Anime Expo felt like a mismatch (most anime fans don't like jpop, they just like OPs and EDs that signal they like anime) and it's not surprising that the venue wasn't even remotely suited to their performance. Not disappointed I didn't go, I'd rather save the money to see them in Japan than waste it on an afternoon in LA.

In hindsight maybe this was maybe a 'bet hedging' when they scheduled it in case the group's newest songs weren't received too well but seeing how fantastic they're doing on the domestic charts, they don't have any incentive to go to the US. They didn't even stay for the weekend and enjoy hamburgers (or schedule any additional interviews, media appearances, etc.) which tells you how uninvested they are in this endeavour – and obviously, that's a good thing. Shifting their strategy to pander to westoids would be the death of any jpop group (just listen to kpop at that point)
