Rosetta 2 Support: There are already a ton of native mac games on the steam store. Rosetta 2 has been able to play a lot of them perfectly for me. Limbo, bioshock remastered.
Mac silicon has pretty good emulation. Gamecube is is top tier, and switch is pretty good too. I've heard good things about 360 emulation.
Compatibility softwar: Crossover/whiskey/parrels/etc
Crossover is getter better quickly. There are a few great games that run flawlessly. Free open source whiskey, is coming a long way too.
Mac is worth looking into if you just want a great laptop that can play enough games to get you by. More and more games are going to be coming out with native apple silicon support. It's exceeding my expectations so far. The games I have been playing have been flawless.
