Kinkade is saccharine, commercialized kitsch; all his paintings are essentially the same, following the same formula with the same over-saturated style, and only belong in a jigsaw puzzle at your grandma's house. His work is just barely better than AI slop.
There are much better artists of Americana, like Norman Rockwell. Rockwell wouldn't just do the same scenes, but would play to his strengths of depicting expressive people in a grounded style, telling entire stories with a single painting, conveying our nation's values succinctly and eloquently. Rockwell was an artist, Kincade was a hack.
