The first story is kind of false. The pool is open to all foreign students and any student who lives on campus and the faculty (it is mainly foreign students who live on campus) students who don't live on campus can't use the pool, it's provided as part of the accommodation fees. And the second story is also misleading. It's not 3 girls for every African student it's a buddy program you can be assigned a boy or a girl or three boys. It's a random assignment and it's to help foreign students learn Chinese and immerse in the culture by making local friends. Also the programs are open to ALL foreign students. Not just Africans. White students also are part of it.
It is difficult to see from your image but here is the full image. There are only 4 Africans in the pool (likely friends) surrounded by various other groups of people including Chinese and white foreigners and alot of Chinese guys also who live on campus and pay for the pool with their rent fees. Stop believing random twitter posts.
