Adam, a Ukrainian Defender from Volyn region, returned from Russian captivity, said that a Russian had offered him to stay in Russia - but he responded that he would never serve Russia.

"We will fight for our Ukraine and stand our ground - for our homeland and for our children!

He [Russian] said: 'You went to war for money!' I [Adam] replied: 'I went to fight for my wife, for my children, and for my homeland - so that it may live and thrive.'

I'm proud that I will grow wheat on this land, and continue to raise my children so they can carry on what I started," the Defender said.
