Stock market is very much a reductionist machine.
Ultimately the price (investment minus risk) is factored out by benefits and costs on both sides.
The middle east is a shithole, blowing up a shithole, isn't much of a risk b/c nothing there mattered in the first place.
However, blowing things up is spending money. Which makes assets that support that end (lighting money on fire).
If we're making more money than we light on fire, Price goes up.
