When you get past the superficial differences, most of you ultimately have more in common with the Democrats than the Republicans.
The Democrats may be misguided but they genuinely want to create a better world.
The Republicans essentially want to go back to the 1950s and stay there forever.
It would fundamentally be easier to turn the Democratic Party into a force for a higher civilization than the Republicans.
