I mean a lot of people state that "owners playing with toys brings them to life" but even that is bullshit. The aliens in the claw machine were alive despite never being played with, the Barbies in Als Toy Barn are alive despite never being played with, ffs there’s an entire tv special where a large group of Battlesaurs don’t even realize that they’re toys because they’ve never been opened or played with.

On a side note I find it funny how the TV specials like Toy Story of Terror and That Time Forgot have a better grasp on Buzz’s character than the fourth main installment of the damn series.
