Overall, Chen is the best, and her steady-state DPS (like in Supreme Battleground) is insane (there, Nerida is about equal, but Nerida isn't quite as good in Neural Sim as Chen is across all bosses).

Far less clear-cut. Chen tends to be the best in wave-defense stuff, but in most other cases she's high-tier, not the best. Katya will beat her more often than not. Pic related was today's Hero Games, and I didn't even get good buffs. I've left the top of his avatar frame visible to show that his investment is not likely to be low.

They should buff the super-old operatives, not the relatively-recent ones.
There's also an argument to be made that M5 (and M4 also in the case of many supports) should be achievable sooner or have a greater effect or give some other form of benefit, because as-is it's not worth the investment.

I much prefer to play Dawnwing, but there's no denying that the pre-Chen DPS characters are fairly comprehensively outclassed in NS and Supreme Battleground, and surely it won't be long before they're beaten in general mobbing as well.
