She would tell you that the breakthrough had gone well, making tons of progress. Reading her research made you realized [Custom Special] could become overpowered as shit. It dealt with actually being able to control when the prompt for [Custom Special] became available, but only a special version of the screen — letting you switch between past abilities you've already had at your whim. Unfortunately this didn't extend to newer powers, so you couldn't just spam it until you got every ability you possibly could on standby.

At least not yet.

Ruby Rose remained pretty happy about her progress, despite not knowing what half of it meant. She promised to wrap it up by the end of the week.

It reminded you of how invigorated Herta was after that little talk you had with her. You gave the goddess a good scolding every time you saw her, and stressed the importance of getting things done.

"But Master-" Herta would say "I couldn't finish it because I was working with you!"

"Are you gonna keep on making excuses, or are you going to stop being such a lazy noodle-armed bitch?"

"Kyaah! I'll do it, Master~!"

And so things went for the duration of the week. However, you did feel like you could do some other things to encourage her.

On another note, Gerty had been doing well with her building practice. She tended to focus more on what she could do in the midst of battle, foreseeing the need to build in crisis situations.

Given that she would split her time learning how to lead the constructions clankers in many different ways, you expected your competent Holy Knight to have a grasp on how to use the robots. Yet, with an apology and a salute, she asked if there was anything in particular you wanted her to practice.

"Why not everything at the same time?" You queried.

"Sir!" She said. "Focus is key to grasping onto something!"

Well, it seemed like that was how she learnt things.
