It's not the same. Trump pivoted away from his 2016 campaign persona within a year or two of being elected. 2025 Trump is nowhere near as exciting or refreshing as 2015/2016 Trump. We still don't have mass deportations.

He can't even make a decision regarding Israel and the Jews. He's just being a blue-balled faggot tbqh senpai. If Trump were based, he would either team up with Israel and commit to regime change in Iran, OR he would tell Israel to go fuck themselves and cease all US aid to that country. Instead, he's doing neither. He did a shitty little bombing run while claiming to be a peacemaker. He's not working to get the Islamic shitheads out of power in Iran, nor is he doing anything to curtail Israel and the Jewish state. He's propping up BOTH Iran and Israel, which is the most cringe of all possible timelines. He's basically being Obama 2.0 at this point as far as the middle east is concerned.

The big beautiful bill adds tons of spending. Elon is right to be upset about this. Trump morphed into an even more normie Republican after his first term. It's like they agreed to let him be president again if he just moderated his views and acquiesced to big business at every opportunity.
