Maybe it's just how the mikes are set up, but there's a reason Russians had a big military band playing for almost the whole duration of the parade... it's great to cover up the sounds of engines and squeaking treads.

Parade sounds so fucking lifeless because the sound of cheering is either too far IRL or is otherwise muted down so you are just looking at armor roll by in what seems like near silence.

Also the narrator/announcer fucking sucks.
