He's sent to the lands between as a mercenary tasked with eliminating the nightlord. While he's fucking around and flirting with Priestess, his handler tips him off on the traitor to their Dark Brotherhood being in the area. Ironeye hunts the traitor down and through him finds out they both live in death. His handler then confesses that her agents are disposed of once they've fulfilled their purpose, and how she hoped to prolong the night for their sake. Ironeye is seemingly unhappy about this situation and is seriously burnt out on the job, so he takes his handler's idea and kills the old man, making sure that The Night Is Far From Over, as there's no one to give the primordial rune to anymore.
