Depends of the areas. My friends that did legal immigration into US and other people I know have told me that the bottom level Venezuelans came there, specially from barrios which are darker skinned in general.

Those "Favela/Barrio minded" individuals are very well known here for bad decisions and poor spending decisions.

Like if you sold an apartment for a nice cash in the middle of the city, they end up buying a shitty ass slumb house in a favela. My family is mostly ethnically white but mixed with Africans/Indigenous at some point, yet most of features are white and we personally dislike those "barrio minded" individuals, we treat them as "ignorants"

As those people went into USA/LATAM/Europe, things went here calmer and crime dropped massively, still high but not high as before.
