America ultimately lost in Afghanistan. But had we not, we would have expanded our influence in Central Asia. That was the strategy. We just failed. Which is why we left Afghanistan and immediately provoked a war in Ukraine. And since we're losing that war, we're now moving into Iran. If both fail, I don't even know what we will do. We're running out of options. At some point, the only way forward is war, or imperial collapse.
