Remember when Borderlands and similar games were just one of many games on the shelves at game stores? It was just another fps game in a sea of them on ps3 and 360. Now in 2025 its a marquee release and there are basically no competing fps games or even any other AAA games on the market. How did this happen? Seriously I remember holiday seasons being saturated with games, good and bad. Now there's just Yotei and Borderlands 4 and nothing else of note. Hell even the rest of the year just has those two games and mgs3 demake and a 50 dollar budget Mafia spin off.
