I buy big bags of frozen, pre-cooked chicken and from that I can make fajitas, I can make alfredo, I can make buttered chicken, I can make all sorts of things from some pre-cooked chicken. Is it ideal? No. But it's the best I can do in my circumstances.
And because I actually like myself, I give myself the best I can.
Plus my family actually having come from abject poverty I know a whole lot of extremely cheap Balkan peasant dishes.
