In umamusume even a F2P can grind for 9* stat 9* URA parent which is more valuable than anything you can roll from gacha. A F2P who grinds for hundreds of hours and has god parent umas will have a more valuable account than a whale who rolls MLB supports and upgrades all of their umas to 5* but has no good parents.
In Hoyo games it is quite literally impossible for your account to be more valuable than a whale account if you are F2P.

The difference is that Uma has 3% base rates with 0.75% rateup for most targets. 0.75% is already higher than Hoyo gacha's entire 5* rates. Hoyo gacha rates are so dogshit that you are expected to roll absolutely nothing of value until soft pity range. The difference between nip and chink gacha is that unlike chink gacha rolling a 3* uma here won't reset your pity and you are expected to roll quite a few 3* non rateups while rolling for your target. While this can mean you might get your 3rd Special Week whom you have no intention of ever training, this could also mean that you might pick up a copy of Curren Chan, Smart Falcon, and Summer Maruzensky while rolling for Christmas Oguri (remember Uma gacha has no FOMO limited umas and they all carry into the standard gacha pool after their banner concludes). This is infinitely better than more F2P friendly than Hoyo gachas since F2P can save for future banners and still pick up meta umas or support cards when rolling non-rateups.
