Race, not class, has always been central to democratic socialists like Zohran as well as communists, anarchists, marxist-leninists and all the rest. They have never considered white people to be "true proletariat", when they say "workers of the world" they mean Ahmed, Ranjesh, Levi, Jamal and Rodriguez, not Dave.
