Last night, Mr. Tick Tock appeared before me.
A long talk made me see that time flew by.
He whispered to me that lovers get lost in the sea,
And tides pull them apart before they even begin to try.
Time challenged my sanity, talent, and ambition.
Even the most basic concept must be relearned.
Love, too, is a lesson in humble admission,
Or else the verses in your poem will not be earned.
I will count every second that comes to me,
Every moment that delays my arrival to you.
As I write a paradox on a sheet of paper,
One that defies time, a disaster in the making.
My Chiaki, the storms you have caused in my heart,
Have robbed me of every shred of reason.
And although I make no sense,
The greatest nonsense is not having you by my side.
