That's the thing. Assuming Trump is innocent. He may have just been another major figure Epstein was after, but couldn't get dirt on him. And if thats the case, there maybe others who also had a connection to Epstein, but did nothing wrong.
If I were asked "What is Trumps grand plan about the Epstein list." Assuming he's innocent and wants to see the Epstein matter resolved. May have some quiet investigation in the works. Courts do this all the time. When the US legal system wants to go after high profile matters, they tend to investigate quietly. Only showing their cards when they make their move. Last time I remember seeing this was with FTX and Sam Bankman-Fried. People knew what was going on, but were asking "Why isn't he in jail for this" Only for him to get arrested soon after.
I don't know for sure whats going on. But assuming the best, this maybe the game plan. it would seem very stupid for Trump to talk about going after Epstein and his connections, if he knew it would also condemn him self.
But thats just my theory on the matter.
