Furries were the most obnoxious cunts on the internet pre-2010. They couldn't keep their fetishes or their fucked up baby speak in its proper place and so wound up everyone's enemy. People posted shit they hoped would shock or otherwise deter furries from posting.
In 2010 My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic came out and "bronies" rapidly overcame furries as the most obnoxious and omnipresent internet group. Basically overnight the hate for furries transferred to bronies.
Over about 4 years the brony craze died down and they made way for the modern group that has owned the rights to the title "most obnoxious cunts online:" /pol/.

If you're still trying to make fun of furries in 2025 you're fifteen years behind the times.
