So Haru (Kamuy) is a version of Haru from another timeline where a) the Savior never got summoned to Eden and b) Haru never left the mountain she called home after the death of her parents, becoming the mountain's guardian by bearing the name Kamuy. Kamuy is a bit more mature and frank compared to the shy and reluctant Haru, but she's also apathetic and depressed. Many years passed by, with Kamuy sealing off the once snowy mountain called Ioru away from outsiders, and then the world just started collapsing one day, with Kamuy choosing to die with the collapse in the hopes of reuniting with her parents, not knowing that fate planned for her to become tainted and turn into an Evil Soul. The Savior somehow managed to connect to this alternate timeline through his dreams and saved Kamuy by establishing a Soul Contract with her, despite her initial distrust of him that was later abated by her reading Haru's journal. Now she lives in the Savior's timeline alongside the version of her who chose to leave the mountain and grow alongside others, dreaming of a new future alongside the two people who saved her from her despair.
