I actually liked it as a teen, for its first like 40 volumes One Piece is imo a pretty decent and slick adventure comic with this boisterous cartoony charm to it in its art. Then the world building and powerscaling gets out of hand, the secondary cast gets cast into irrelevance forever and basically everything that made it great was discarded and replaced with this really generic shonen power pyramid with a trillion worthless characters and endless trite lore. Its art has gotten worse and worse over time not better, more generic, cluttered and less clean. Not a fan anymore, too long, nothing survives the rot that is Shonen Jump.
