Here’s a weird little short story. People in the Levant get conquered by Rome. The tradiition at the time is monotheistic but hyper focused on purity laws and ritual sacrifice which is taxed and makes money for the Pharisees and Rome. People see it as corruption. The joke is made that you have to be more righteous than the Pharisees to get into the Kingdom of Heaven! Along comes a rabbi who has studied prophecy and gets it into his head to take the Idea of the fulfillment of the law seriously. He becomes more righteous than the Pharisees but breaks the laws he sees as unjust. This makes the Pharisees look really bad and they start losing money because people won’t buy things to sacrifice anymore. Rome doesn’t get enough temple taxes. Rabbi get’s crucified for messing with the Jewish and Italian mafia at the same time. Later le epic troll the rabbi did was written about and maybe embellished. Rabbi is called the messiah by some people of the Levant who are from then on Christians. Some people of the Levant don’t recognize the Rabbi as their prophecied messiah because fuck that guy.

Fast forward to today. Rabbi Epstein did reductio ad absurdum with blackmail; Rabbi Peterson talks about lobsters; Rabbi Shapiro makes fun of libtards and Rabbi Green talks shit about all the other Rabbis and about how insane it is that this amalgamation of desert traditions has become so popular in the West.
