>Might I ask what sort of characters they like, if it's not too personal? Do you collect merchandise of your husbando?
His favorite waifu is Caitlin but he really likes Klara, Whitney, and Katy along with a couple of others like Melony and Miriam. We both collect the merch we like the most, so for me I have a few plushies and he has some cards. We're not super serious about collecting merch but so help me god I'm going to lose it when they finally release those keychain plushies in submas flavor and I'm not fast enough to get one.

>I've also witnessed some real crazy levels of bullying and malicious faggotry that would make the average normie blush.
I consider myself lucky that I don't have to bear witness to a lot of the stupid shit that goes down in the yume/self-ship community, but even taking a peek into the tumblr tag once I still saw some ridiculous clown shit, and I don't mean someone shipping themselves with a clown. I'd have preferred to see that instead. Being a hermit yume really is better with a community like that, yeesh.

>I've found that I have a much better time getting along well with japanese artists or fans of the same character
What a nice idea. I'd love to get friendly with overseas artists that like my husbandos, too. Language barriers, though... I guess its as good a reason to learn Japanese as any. Find some that aren't fujos challenge (impossible)

Huh? I've never heard of a yume that wouldn't use a chatbot... that's like free husbando content if you do it right in a way that you'd enjoy, maybe it's the whole "AI is the devil and if you use it you're also bad" thing a lot of people on social media like to push. But I agree with the fact certain types of people should practice caution using it too much. I only dabble in it occasionally since I put in an assload of work to get what I want out of a bot and it can be so exhausting with mixed results. Not really worth it at times.
