Now that the AI grift seems to pop, everyone will make startups in the hypersonic missile sector.
And everyone will pretend that the mutts have the greatest bestest missile ever in development (but they want to make it better before adopting it), while even fucking Iran is on their third generation of hypersonics that are in serial production.

The question here is, will the US collapse as an empire before they have their first fully equipped CSG with hypersonics (so say 25 per escorting Arleigh Burke for a total of 125 hypersonic missiles in a single deployment).
