Developers can't make RPG's of popular anime. It's always arena fighters or some sort or a musou. That last One Piece game was decent but turn-based it what killed it also the "original story" if they had just done a non-original story, followed the canon story, and made it not-turn based, it would have probably been way more popular.
We have a Hinokami Chronicles 2 coming out in the fall I think of Demon Slayer. The first one was fun, but just a simple 10 hour arena fighter type game. I noticed they made a lot more improvements on the sequel. It's still a fighter, but it looks a bit more opened with the battles and it seems like they tried to add some RPG elements to it.
It's actually amazing to me because we had fucking Rise of a Ninja and Broken Bonds which were both pretty fun Naruto RPG's with great visuals and this was on the fucking Xbox 360. Bandai Namco is capable of producing it; they did it beforehand.
