That is literally the Z Anime. It's insane how hard everyone memory holed themselves into thinking base Z is good in the slightest.
Dub - you get shitty voice performances by amateurs with pretty shit music 80% of the time. It also never shuts the FUCK up. It gave me a headache. Also freeza is just bad.
Sub - you get the granny Goku garbage with music that has fucking sliding whistles and Maracas in it.
It's crazy inferior to Kai (which has its own issues!) outside of certain specific moments.
Why can't we get a good release of this series ever?
