Ignoring the demographic shift the internet has gone through from passionate social outcasts and tech enthusiasts from mostly America, northern Europe and Japan to mostly normalfags, boomers and 3rd world people that can barely make a coherent english sentence is disingenuous, it's one of the root causes and how we gone from "never reveal sensitive private information on the internet" to real names, addresses and even work places everywhere etc.
The people changed and so did the culture always has and always will.
