New mexico fag here. The natives range from normies who play Fortnite and work at McDonald's to hardline lefties. Most of them are apolitical. Therebis a lot of misery on reservations.
Incest is super common. I've never actually met a native who wasn't molested. Alcoholism is common too.
Casinos and gambling addiction are less common among natives but it does happen.
One of the most fascinating things is that they all live in trailers. This is because on a rezzie you can't own the land so banks will only pay for structures that they can repossess.
Tribal cops are cool to natives but range wildly on tribe. Some tribes love visitors and tourists so the cops are similar to what you'd get in Vegas. Other times the entire town is a speed trap and a corrupt one at that.
