The CS/IT job market is flooded with skilled workers that have years of experience. Being a new CS graduate right now is grim, it was already a meme that companies expect entry level positions to have 10 years of experience, now you'll be lucky to get a job even with that experience.

Think about it like this: even if AI only reduces workers by 10% that is enough to disrupt the job market.
