I don’t see why she can’t bop back and forth between Pixie Hollow and the Lost Boys’ camp as needed. She and Peter have the ability to fly from Neverland to London and back in a single night. You can chalk up her hovering around Peter and not going home for so much time in the 50s film to her not trusting him alone with Wendy. And before Peter meets Wendy, Tink is just tagging along to help on Peter’s little adventure to London, trying to recover the shadow he lost there.
