It's really neat to me that I have friends that are artists that think AI shit is really fucking cool and they even posts AI shit because it's neat.
But then they just go back to drawing because they're not falling for the bait that AI is replacing artists. Ai can't draw like them and they know that the second it starts getting close to their style, they pivot. They use AI as reference just like artists use other art as reference and are smart enough to see when something seems generated and fake.
It's spergs that are trying to replace artists that is the problem but you never hear from the non-vocal majority because they're smart enough to know praising the shit publicly is social sabotage. Meanwhile knowing that AI is fantastic for making competent artists more competent. Used to help visualize their product and being able to use that knowledge to improve without plagiarizing.
