it's not a competition. as you get better you will realize that the things you want to draw are completely different in your own unique way to what others draw. there is no one on earth who can draw things exactly the way *you* want them like *you* can. whether that means you cope with childhood trauma, generate complex and personal stories, draw cute things just the way you want them, or sacrifice yourself to the anime and porn industries, that's your decision.
