I like deepseek more than gemini but it is SUPER sensitive to formatting. You NEED the noass extension and to set it up something like this. Disable include names / add name to prompt in formatting and set character names behavior to none. If you have outside info besides the chat history then put all of that in one section with it all labeled as such. Even stuff like the persona.
