The ancients did not know exactly what Baal and the gods looked like, but sometimes they said that he had not bull horns, but hog horns, and at the same time they could also be identified with horses (if you pay attention, a bull can remind a horse of its face, just with a short neck) It just depended on perception, I think, sometimes they could be identified with goats, in any case, they had a kind of elongated face + horns + green skin and a snake tail. Banebdjedet, Khnum, Zeus-Amun, Macedonian were depicted with ram's horns. Chinese Shennong (father of the Yellow Emperor) was described as horned, but with green skin (that's why Osiris and Ptah, Khnum are green not because they are associated with vegetation). Statuettes of Baal with horns and a snake tail were also found (I lost but saw one photo, maybe it's a lie)

All these mysteries and myths are confusing and hide only one thing - reptiles are real. They also found figurines of Baal with a snake tail and horns (horned reptiles). The Chinese literally say that gods are snakes and dragons, the same yellow emperor in ancient texts was described with a snake tail, the Sumerians associated snakes and dragons with the world tree and many gods had the epithets of the great dragon/snake, there are tablets of some snake man sitting next to a Sumerian. In the Hellenic mysteries, all the gods turned into snakes. Geb (Kronos) was considered the father of snakes and Osiris is green not because he is associated with vegetation and Khnum is green for a reason, as is Ptah. In general, intelligent reptiles (sometimes with horns) are the MOST mentioned creatures in all myths/stories and religions of the world
