The scorching Summer sun is upon us, and that means plenty of events have popped-up around the realm to capitalize on the shifting seasons.
First up was the Festival of the Sun in Balder's Refuge, just outside the Archive Stronghold. Hadn't been to one of these before, so everything at the festival grounds was brand-new to me.
The site was awash with colorful banners and balloons strewn across practically every tree, and scented candles lay upon suspected lily-pads surrounding the largest oak of them all in the center. Teeny tiny little toy tanks could be controlled for mock battles (much to the chagrin of the event staff I'm sure), and the Strawberry Ice smoothies flowed freely for anyone willing to lend a hand in chipping-away at nearby Ice Stations.
Even had a chance to visit the beautiful Balder's Gardens while I was there! Lovely little trip, this ended up being.
