I feel like Axeman has been getting worse with letting his spytism dictate his lines and actions though. For example, he wrote this exact same conversation between Twilight and Nightfall during the mole arc, where Twilight was way more stressed out by Yor who was picking an active fight, and he was still firm on keeping Yor as his mission wife. Yet 40 chapters later he just readily agrees with Nightfall for no credible reason, just to give Axeman an excuse to draw her with gag faces.
Making Twilight not carry any hardline standards really cheapens whatever growth he was supposed to have had up to this point. I can't say he's changed at all, let alone grown attached to the Forgers when Axeman just uses his mission as an excuse to disregard what he's said and done before.
