This is the reality.

In reality it's all about having levers to exclude and gatekeep.
This is why I don't contribute to anything with a Code of Conduct. Why risk working on "community" projects that some deranged person can just take it away from you, especially women who invent drama, or minorities desperate to gatekeep their normality at the behest of panicked, offended women?
Better to work on solo projects.
