The amount of times I see people on /csm/ completely misinterpret the events, get outraged, start flailing at ghosts and blame Fujimoto for "poor writing", only to be proven completely wrong and then hide under a rock until doing the same thing again next week, it's actually pretty amazing.
Last chapter was another good example.
The literacy levels and the ability to read expressions are just too low on most people's parts, to be able to follow the story properly. Therefore they're just in a constant loop of being outraged and confused and creating fictional narratives in their heads, none of which correspond in any way with the story that is being told.
They're just seething endlessly about a story they don't understand.
