The thing about Ichiruki fans is that they don't care lol, their fanbase is still huge thanks to both parties involved being the fan favorites from the start. Orihimefags are still crying about how Orihime was perceived meanwhile Rukiafags don't care if newfags don't like their ship. Both parties handle things very differently.
