Nah, we pushed for Chichi to get with Acer, while we (mostly others) eventually managed to get Goku and Maple to hook up. Gohan and Peppa are the twin kids of the latter, while the previously mentioned Izumi is the kid of the former. Being based on Path to Power, Goku never actually met Chichi like in the original, so there wasn't any marriage proposal, instead they met during Roshi's training.

If anything he's actually even more skilled in Tuffle Quest. While he never learned Instant Transmission, he developed the Dragon Fist before Vegeta even arrived, has been able to pick up and adapt a lot more skills from his allies, was even been able to mix Super Saiyan 3 with a Quest Original transformation, the Raio-Ken (a pure speed boosting skill that doesn't take nearly as much stamina or purity of heart as the Kaio-ken, and instead just lets the user move and attack faster than normal)

I think the QM is on record as saying that (for purposes of the Quest) God is vastly stronger, but 4 is more "stable." She even made some notes about the idea of Super Saiyan 4 with God Ki being possible before Heroes had Limit Breaker
