Isn't it basically a big-ass circle with GSC in the middle? I always imagined it was shaped sorta like Japari Park, where the Sanctum Tower and the GSC buildings were located smack dab in the middle and all the schools orbit around it. The disparity between the geographic regions being due solely to fuckywucky magic, so it's 100% possible for a snow-ridden area to border Abydos' dunes of sands or some shit.
